Sizes:
Cobblestone (3" - 10"  diameter)

Riprap ( *Classes are generally based on weight and size*)

Common Uses: Erosion Control for coasts and riverbanks

Sizes:

Steppers: Always has at least 2 flat sides and is normally 2ft wide or more. These stones can be 4" thick or more

Slabs: Same thickness as stepping stones but can be much larger in width.
Common Uses: Stepping stones and slabs can both be used for Rock steps and other decorative purposes.

Sizes:
Wide Range of sizes. Many are square shaped and have several flat sides(Top and Bottom)  making it easy for stacking.  
Common Uses: Rock Walls for decoration or retaining soil. Also rock siding for homes and other buildings.
